GRIPPING OUR HEARTS

Jerry with Students at Eston College
Mobilizing & Equipping the next generation of Frontier Missionaries

Passion for Souls. Spreading the fame of Jesus. Reaching and teaching the nations to reach and teach the nations. These are phrases that grip our hearts as our family engages in missions in Canada and around the world. Missions is one of the main topics in our home around the clock – we live it,  dream it and are passionate to see the lost come to Christ. Lord, here we are – Send us!

In December & January, Jerry visited pastors and ministered in churches in North Vancouver, Surrey, Victoria, Nanaimo, Calgary and Dapp. He also took in the KAIROS course (an intensive missions course tailored for local churches and missionaries) and will be helping to facilitate the course at Ambrose University College in April.

Students at Eston College interested in missions to Unreached People Groups

In January Jerry met with students and faculty from Eston College about a new missions program being implemented there called Global Call. Almost 20 students are seriously interested in engaging in missions to unreached people groups.  In January, Danny Delong and Jerry were able to meet with them to give them some direction and pray with them.

Our hearts are bursting with excitement as we watch the Lord calling many young people and families to serve full time overseas. 5 unreached areas have been identified where we hope to send in teams of new missionaries in the coming years. Stay tuned to these strategic initiatives to reach those who have never heard the good news of Jesus.

Thank you for your prayer and support in Global Missions.
