During this Christmas season, may you know the close presence of the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ.  May your joy in Him overflow to others as we celebrate His coming to earth to save and redeem us.

Paul the Apostle said in Acts 15:36, “Let’s go back and visit each city where we previously preached the word of the Lord, to see how the new believers are doing.”

Thank you for praying for and supporting us to make our recent trip to Southern Africa possible. God is doing a great work in this area of the world.

ZAMBIA

ACOP Regional Leaders

A very fruitful day was spent in Ndola meeting with an excellent team of ACOP national leaders.  What a joy it was to also spend a day in Kitwe meeting with our former colleagues we worked with at Heart of Africa Mission as well as some of our students.  We are thrilled with the reports of students who are tent making and planting the church as well as establishing schools, colleges, vulnerable children’s ministries, doing missions in other countries etc.  Churches are being planted in numerous towns and villages throughout Zambia.

ZIMBABWE

We continued to Zimbabwe where we ministered at a Harare wide ACOP church celebration.  We also held a pastor’s conference.  Several ACOP orphan care centers, a school, and sustainability projects were visited.

MOZAMBIQUE

In Mozambique, we met with ACOP regional leaders from Malawi, Mozambique, Zimbabwe and Zambia, along with Rev. Stan Powers.  These are visionary, passionate and strong men and women of God providing leadership to these growing church movements.  In all, they represent around 900 churches that they are leading.  The most exciting thing that came from this meeting was the collaboration towards church planting together in other nations.  We ministered at the ACOP leaders conference in Mozambique and at their Bible school graduation. Many a delicious meal was cooked and provided for the entire ministry team.

VERY FAVOURITE STORY FROM THIS TRIP

ACOP of Canada never sent missionaries to Mozambique but they did send missionaries to Malawi, Zimbabwe and Zambia.  ACOP disciples from these nations planted the ACOP in Mozambique.  We love this story of people who obeyed and were sent from ACOP of Canada.  They made disciples and planted the church.  These disciples made disciples in Mozambique and planted the church there. ACOP of Mozambique is our grandchild!  Over 300 churches strong.

Thank you for sending, sowing, praying and giving.  The fruit goes on.
