Family on Mission

Schuetz's 2013Family on Mission

Since being in Canada, our family has not lost our heart for missions.  In fact, we feel we are always on mission with God, whether we are in our community or across the world in a remote village. We want to be a family always on mission with God.

This summer, we had the privilege of meeting with a number of foreign missionaries and some who are in the process of preparing for missions.  Caring for, equipping and training those who “go” is not only a privilege, it’s essential.  Ministering at camp also gave us opportunity to share the challenge for missions and further mobilize and cast vision for missions.  Numbers of ACOP members have taken the Kairos course, which we assist in facilitating, and are being trained and equipped for discipleship and mission.  A new young family has been deployed for an 8 month internship in Thailand. God is equipping His church and deploying His workers into the harvest field.

In the coming months, we will be travelling to Eston College for the Festival of Missions, preparing for an upcoming Leadership Retreat and for the Congress of Apostolic Ministries in 2014.  Also, Jerry will be travelling to Vancouver for ministry and a mission’s weekend.  In October, Jerry will be attending an international key meeting for missions leaders related to reaching unengaged people with the Gospel.  Over the coming months we will be involved in a number of training sessions with those preparing for missions.

Thank you for partnering with us in Strategic Global Missions. Thank you for partnering with our family on mission with God.
