Multiplying

Equipping, training, and partnering to see multiplying churches planted, through disciple making, remains one of our top priorities.  Here are some highlights coming from the frontlines:

  • Recently, new followers of Jesus, in the Amazon basin, were baptized in the Pacaja River at a church plant there. ACOP Global Worker comments, “We were so excited to see nine people follow the call of Jesus to be baptized”.
  • An ACOP team (15 people), working in a Least Reached People Group, has set a 32 / 5 goal. The team asks, “Will you believe with us for the multiplication of new followers that will result in 32 churches in the next 5 years”?
  • We have partnered with ACOP in Burkina Faso to send a missionary to reach a Least Reached People Group. Their leader states, “The Lord is using the missionary in a powerful way to bring people to Him mainly through healings and prayers being answered”. A new church gathering has been established in this new mission outpost.

ACOP’s Global Partners report that there are over 1,400 churches globally that we have relationship with. Many are in Africa, but also in Central / South America, Asia and Europe. The church in Africa is a beacon of light as it grows to a place of prominence in global evangelization. Pew predicts that nearly 40 percent of the world’s Christians will reside in Sub-Saharan Africa by 2050 and has not only taken up the role of reaching the rest of Africa, they are now poised to become the epicenter of global missions. We give the Lord glory for the great work He is doing! Thank you for partnering with us.
