Through a lengthy battle with covid, the Lord has been gracious, faithful, answered prayer and been near to our family. Thank you for your prayers, love and concern for us. Over the last number of months, we have been privileged to be very involved in the following four Global Expansion initiatives.
ACOP Sends
We are so excited to report that we are in the process of preparing and deploying many new workers! How amazing is that! God used this pandemic to call these young adults and many more like them (who will be deployed in the next couple of years), to make life altering decisions to take the gospel where it is not known.
4 young adults are preparing to move to Sri Lanka to establish a training center for young people. By faith we believe, that young adults will come, be released from bondage, trained and deployed to make disciples in unreached villages.
A young family is heading to the Middle East next month! Pray for their beautiful feet as they take the gospel of peace to those whom the Lord is already preparing.
God placed a dream in our hearts to establish a base in East Africa – along the coast – the Muslim ring – many years ago. A family has answered the call to be the “tip of the spear”. With great expectation in our hearts, we know this step of radical obedience is going to produce a harvest. Their intended deployment in January 2022! Yes, Lord! Pray that more will respond to the Lord’s call and join this team!
ACOP Trains
There are a couple of exciting projects that we, along with our Global Representatives and Global Partners, are working and assisting with:
Mobile Bible schools in Malawi
21 Bible schools with an estimated 765 students this year! We cherish fond memories of teaching in both the residential and mobile ACOP Malawi Bible schools many years ago.
Martin Davies High School in Burkina Faso
This is a Christian school that is attended mostly by Muslim young people. What an opportunity for the gospel to penetrate these young hearts!
ACOP Builds
Throughout this season, there has been so much generosity! We thank the Lord! We are working with national leaders on roofing/building projects in Ecuador, Guatemala, Malawi, Zambia, Burkina Faso and the DRC.
ACOP Helps
Again, the generosity of God’s people has enabled us to send humanitarian aid recently to:
o Congo – help from the destruction of a volcano
o Cuba – a country in crisis
o Mexico – covid relief
God hasn’t stopped working
Although our way of working has greatly changed, it hasn’t stopped God’s hands. We have seen unprecedented prayer, heard of more dreams and visions, Holy Spirit empowered witness, divine appointments and things that can only happen because the Lord has orchestrated them.
We have excitement stirring in our hearts and anticipate getting back on the ground with ACOP global workers and national fields as restrictions begin to lift. Thank you for standing with us as we “reach and teach the nations to reach and teach the nations”.
