The Dioula (or Dyula) are a Muslim people group who specialize in long-distance trade, Islamic scholarship, and textile production throughout West Africa. Over the last number of months, we have partnered with one of our global partners in West Africa to reach these people with the gospel. Our role is to assist in training, resourcing and equipping the national church and national missionaries from a nearby country. The national church has commissioned and will support missionaries (a family) from their country to go to this people group with the gospel. We have prepared and sent a representative to train these missionaries and church leaders. These new missionaries will be deployed to a city among the Dioula people in the coming months where they will establish themselves as business people. By partnering with us, you have enabled us to assist our global partners and representatives to develop a strategy and to facilitate training and resourcing needed for these missionaries so that the transforming gospel can be brought to the Dioula people. One day we will see Dioula disciples worshiping Jesus. Thank you for your part in taking the gospel to these precious people!
