Around the world in 17 days.

Water cannot wash away sins.

If one is going to Asia, why not stop in 4 countries? In fact, that is what Chris Toth and I did in April-01late March. Our time included meeting with church and Bible School leaders in Asia. These men are committed to reaching the lost and building the church in the midst of deep poverty and challenging opposition. April-03

April-02Flying into another city, followed by a 4 hour rickety train ride through undulating hills brought us to a city where one of our Global Worker families has pioneered a fruitful work among an Unreached People Group. What a joy to fellowship, eat healthy doses of spicy Korma, Dahl and Chapatti and pray with new followers of Jesus among this People Group who are generally hostile towards the gospel.

April-04Praying to idols but no answer

Flying on to Taiwan, we were immersed in Chinese and Taiwanese culture. Seeing Temple after Temple and people praying to idol after idol, revealed the deep need for the gospel to transform these humble people. David and Dennise Matson have established a credible, solid fellowship of churches called the Full Gospel Churches of Taiwan. We were encouraged to see younger and older church pastors and leaders, working together in unity.

April-05Transport in style in the Philippines

The last leg of our journey took us to the Philippines where Jason and Connilea Juell are serving in a two year apprenticeship. They conduct Community Health and Evangelism in hard to reach villages in the surrounding mountains of Mindanao Island, and do work in church based evangelism, discipleship and children’s work & education among the materially poor.

Thank you for your faithful prayer and financial support that makes this world-wide work possible.
